Hope

My hope for each of you is that you have a thriving, intimate relationship with God. If you do not have a relationship with God, I pray that you would consider one.

God loves you so very much. The Bible teaches that He created you, and He knows you by name. He has an amazing plan for your life.  You can have hope and purpose through a relationship with Him.

Though we have been created to be in deep relationship with God the reality is that many do not experience God's love and plan for their life. Mankind has been separated from God by our sin.  Whether that be through active rebellion or passive indifference we each have sinned and through that sin have broken fellowship with God.

Jesus Christ can help. He came to this earth and lived the life that we could not live, a perfect one. Then he died the death that we deserved from our sin. Through Jesus alone we can know God and experience His love and plan for our lives.

It is not enough to know that God loves us, and that Jesus has made this great sacrifice for us. We must each individually receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and Lord. We must recognize our need for Jesus Christ because of our sin and place our trust in Christ for our eternal security. Only then can we experience God's great love for us, and His amazing plan for each of our lives.

You can begin a relationship with God right now by faith through a simple prayer. The words are not as important as the attitude of your heart, but here is an example of what you can pray:
Jesus, I want to know you. I want you to come into my life. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin so that I could be fully accepted by you. Only you can give me the power to change and become the person you created me to be. Thank you for forgiving me and giving me eternal life with God. I give my life to you. Please do with it as you wish. Amen.

These websites, here and here, have some great illustrations of these truths as well as Scripture and other resources to help you in your spiritual journey. I believe that a relationship with God is the most important thing that you can consider and pursue. I pray that you will.
